Restructuring and optimization are necessary due to the circumstances caused by the corona virus pandemic in which the tourism industry found itself, which significantly negatively affected the Atlas business, as well as the processes of establishing a new business model and possible change of ownership. Mi jednostavno moramo uvesti novi poslovni model kako bi se Atlas od iduće godine mogao fokusirati se na ono što i dalje možemo i želimo raditi najbolje – a to su Atlasovi dugogodišnji strateški produkti „Krstarenja Jadranom“, „Ture i grupe“ s garantiranim polascima“ te segment „Shorexa“ said Lovorko Mamić, President of the Management Board of Atlas plus doo In a situation of complete cessation of passenger traffic and uncertainty in estimating the duration of the crisis that hit the business, the measures could not be implemented, and the complete cessation of business brought into question the entire business structure of the company in the long run, Atlas Plus points out. As the global and local recovery of the tourism industry is not expected before 2021, Atlas will continue to work in a significantly reduced scope of business this year, and will certainly realize all already contracted and sold arrangements, Atlas Plus points out and adds that in the next plan to continue with the implementation of part of the business processes, especially the program “Adriatic Cruises” and “Tours and groups” with guaranteed departures, as well as the “Shorex” segment, and at the same time get out of some business processes that have been on offer so far. As part of the process of restructuring and optimizing operations, and in agreement with the unions and the Workers’ Council of Atlas Plus, and in compliance with all contractual and legal obligations, an employee care program is being implemented. The travel agency Atlas plus doo has started an extensive process of business optimization and restructuring, but it continues to work and will continue to offer its guests and partners a narrower portfolio of products and services, reports Atlas plus. The program includes 132 Atlas Plus employees, who will have all their rights respected and who will receive severance pay upon termination of the contract. Until recently, as well as the new Management of Atlas Plus, they undertook a number of activities to stabilize and improve the business burdened by numerous inherited doubts, but in the circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic it was no longer possible to do so and recovery plans could not be implemented. Since the continuation of unstructured business can only be maintained with further significant financial interventions, the new Management of Atlas Plus has decided to implement measures necessary for the company’s recovery, Mamić points out and concludes that the corona pandemic virus has slowed down the disinvestment of Kompas. its completion is expected during the year.

Tobias Rieder has switched sides in the Battle of Alberta. The 26-year-old center signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Calgary Flames worth $700,000, the team announced Sunday. Rieder was invited to Flames training camp on a professional tryout at the beginning of the month. Rieder last played for the Edmonton Oilers, with whom he signed a one-year contract in July 2018. The 2018-19 campaign could not have gone worse for Rieder, who failed to score a single goal for Edmonton in 67 games and was the subject of public scorn by Oilers CEO Bob Nicholson as a result.MORE: Complete list of all 31 NHL teams’ UFA, RFA playersRieder proved during his time with the Arizona Coyotes and Los Angeles Kings that he can contribute at the NHL level, however. The Landshut, Germany, native set a career high with 37 points (14 goals, 23 assists) in 2015-16 with Arizona and reached double digits goals in each of the four seasons he played prior to joining the Oilers. He has amassed 128 points over 379 career NHL games. Now in southern Alberta, Rieder hopes to rekindle his career with the reigning Western Conference regular-season champions.Calgary also signed left winger Zac Rinaldo, who also came to camp on a PTO, to a one-year, two-way deal worth $700,000. He failed to impress with the Nashville Predators last season, managing just a goal, three points and 47 hits in 23 games. He also played in three AHL games with the Preds’ AHL-affiliate Milwaukee Admirals, notching an assist.Rinaldo, 29, has never managed to hit the 10 point-mark in a season at the NHL level, his career-high being nine points with the Philadelphia Flyers in 2011-12; despite that, he’s impressed with over 140 hits in all but one season of his seven-year career. As a hard-hitting forward, Rinaldo can be a physical presence that can engage in puck battles, stand up for his teammates and be a force to be reckoned with on the ice. If he’s not up with the Flames, he could prove to be an asset in the AHL with their affiliate Stockton Heat.

Editor’s note: Every December the ReadWriteWeb team looks into the murky depths of the coming year and tries to predict the future. How did we do last year? Well, Facebook didn’t go public, Google Wave didn’t make a comeback, and Spotify didn’t make it to the U.S. But our forecasts for Google Chrome, cloud computing, Facebook and something we called the “iTablet” were spot on. What’s in store for 2011? All this week we’ll be posting our predictions. Let us know your prognostications in the comments.1: There will be major opportunities and innovations around big data – storage, processing, analytics. “Data-driven” will be the new buzzword. “Data scientist” will be the new hot job. So in the spirit of the film The Graduate, I want to say one word to you. Just one word. “Statistics.”2: Governments and corporations will continue their crackdown on “inappropriate” and “illegal” content online, using WikiLeaks and file sharing as the excuse. People will debate what’s protected under the First Amendment versus Terms of Service agreements.ReadWriteWeb’s 2011 Predictions:2011 Staff Predictions2011 Predictions: Klint Finley2011 Predictions: Curt Hopkins2011 Predictions: Sarah Perez2011 Predictions: Mike Melanson3: Peer-to-peer services will expand, in part as a response to #2. P2P technologies and networks will improve, and new services will spring up that privilege trusted relationships.4: “Not dead yet,” squeaks the Web. Thank you, HTML5.5: Investor dollars will flow into the education technology sector, and there will be lots of acquisition activity in ed-tech as many large media, publishing, and tech companies stake their claim in the space. But there will also be several ed-tech scandals (test-score related) and failures (yes, Kno).6: Openly-licensed content – open education resources, open source, open data – will thrive, as more people question outmoded intellectual property laws. Nonetheless, there’ll still be patent and copyright infringement lawsuits aplenty. 7: Mobile payments will explode, and our phones will increasingly become our wallets. The growth will not lie solely with apps and in-app purchases on smartphones, but will come from carrier billing arrangements on all types of mobile phones.8: Tablets will be the hot device of 2011 – a lot of new buyers, a lot of new manufacturers. Most of the latter will suck, and the iPad will continue to dominate sales (and app sales) until late in the year when a decent Android tablet is released. Despite over a year to prepare, it will fail to have a better name than “iPad.”9: Maker Fairs will flourish. Hobbyists will build mind-blowingly cool projects. And inspired by the likes of Kinect, Scratch, and LegoMindstorms, legions of kids will be inspired to become builders and hackers.10: My mom will join Facebook. audrey watters Why Tech Companies Need Simpler Terms of Servic… Top Reasons to Go With Managed WordPress Hosting 8 Best WordPress Hosting Solutions on the Market Tags:#predictions#web A Web Developer’s New Best Friend is the AI Wai… Related Posts

DefinitionBakers cyst is a buildup of joint fluid (synovial fluid) that forms a cyst behind the knee.Alternative NamesPopliteal cyst; Bulge-kneeCauses, incidence, and risk factorsA Bakers cyst is caused by swelling in the knee. The swelling is due to an increase in synovial fluid – the fluid that lubricates the knee joint. When pressure builds up, fluid bulges into the back of the knee.Bakers cyst commonly occurs with:A tear in the meniscal cartilage of the kneeKnee arthritis (in older adults)Rheumatoid arthritisOther knee problemsSymptomsA large cyst may cause some discomfort or stiffness, but there are often no symptoms. There may be a painless or painful swelling behind the knee. The cyst may feel like a water-filled balloon. Sometimes, the cyst may break open (rupture), causing pain, swelling, and bruising on the back of the knee and calf.It is important to know whether pain or swelling is caused by a Bakers cyst or a blood clot. A blood clot (deep venous thrombosis) can also cause pain, swelling, and bruising on the back of the knee and calf. A blood clot may be dangerous and requires immediate medical attention.Signs and testsDuring a physical exam, thehealth care providerwill look for a softlump in the back of the knee.If the cyst is small, comparing the affected knee to the normal knee can be helpful. There may bea decreasein range of motion caused by pain or by the size of the cyst.In some cases there will be catching, locking, pain, or other signs and symptoms of a meniscal tear.Shining a light through the cyst (transillumination) can show that the growth is fluid filled.advertisementIf thelump grows quickly, or you have night pain, severe pain, or fever, you will need more tests to make sure you do not have other types of tumors.X-rays will not show the cyst or a meniscal tear, but they will show other problems that may be present, including arthritis.MRIs can help the health care provider see the cyst and look for any meniscal injury.TreatmentOften no treatment is needed. The health care provider can watch the cyst over time.If the cyst is painful, the goal of treatment is to correct the problem that is causing the cyst, such as arthritis or a meniscus tear.Sometimes, a cyst can be drained (aspirated) or, in rare cases, removed with surgery if it becomes very large or causes symptoms. The cyst has a high chance of returning if the cause is not addressed. The surgery may also damage nearby blood vessels and nerves.Expectations (prognosis)A Bakers cyst will not cause any long-term harm, but it can be annoying and painful. The symptoms of Bakers cysts usually come and go.Long-term disability is rare. Most people improve with time or arthroscopic surgery.Calling your health care providerCall for an appointment with your health care provider if you have swelling behind the knee that becomes large or painful. Pain could be a sign of infection.ReferencesFoley BA, Christopher TA. Injection therapy of bursitis and tendinitis. In: Roberts JR, Hedges JR, eds. Clinical Proceedings in Emergency Medicine. 5th ed.
