Another FSJ child cyclist collision

first_imgFort St. John has recorded another child cyclist collision, but in this case there were only minor injuries reported.The RCMP says at around 5.30 yesterday afternoon a 7 year old boy, wearing a proper helmet, was riding his bicycle on the 89-A street sidewalk, when a vehicle turned into a driveway in front of him.When the bike hit the side of vehicle, the boy was knocked to the ground, and one of the vehicle’s rear wheels ran over his leg.- Advertisement -The child was taken to hospital, but was released a short time later.A police report says no charges were laid because numerous vehicles were parked on the side of the street, obstructing the motorist’s view of the sidewalk.last_img
