IPL spot-fixing: Delhi Police to challenge players’ acquittal decision

first_imgDelhi Police, on Friday, decided to challenge the judgement of lower court and will file an appeal in IPL spot-fixing case against discharge of the players involved, SN Shrivatsava, Special CP said.The Special CP added that the Delhi Police had already sought concurrence of law department(Government of Delhi) and approval of Police commissioner for the appeal.A trial court in Delhi dropped charges against the allegedly accused players Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila in July.
