first_imgAryaman Agarwal of The Heritage School Kolkata, a student of IBDP Programme 2018 Batch was recently selected for the ‘Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Purashkar 2019’ also known as ‘National Child Award’. The Award ceremony was held on January 22 , at the Darbar Hall, Rashtrapti Bhavan New Delhi.Aryaman received the Award during the grand award ceremony from President of India Ram Nath Kovind. He had donated the award money of Rs two lakhs to the President’s Fund. The Heritage School promises to support and encourage his philanthropy club children by children- ‘Kolkata Youth Club’ through which he annually organises a unique shopping extravaganza for the under-privileged children of the society. Aryaman has recently broken a record to be the youngest magician in India in the ‘India Book of Records’, and in ‘Asia Book of Records’ as well. He has also won several awards including a gold medal from Magic Authority of India and achievement award from Rotaract Club. “We are proud of Aryaman for his excellent contribution towards the society and winning this prestigious award,” said P K Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions Kolkata.
