Famous Donegal butchers building sold for almost half a million euro

first_imgThe former M McGettigan & Sons butchers building in Donegal town has been sold for a price of just under half a million euro, it has been revealed. One of Donegal’s best-known businesses closed its doors in 2017 as a result of falling sales, more than half a century after it opened.At the time, the shop employed seven people and was run by brothers Ernan and Diarmuid McGettigan, who took over from their father in 1980.
